Q. When can I start my course?
A. Any Monday.
Q. Will I be able to understand if I join in the middle of the course?
A. Our teachers are trained to help you integrate into your class.
Q. Can children study at Purley Language College?
A. We accept children age 5 and up.
Q. Are the teachers native speakers?
A. All our teachers speak English to native level.
Q. Do you have wireless internet (WiFi) in the College?
A. Yes. It is free for students.
Q. Does the College organise trips?
A. Yes. Some activities are free (sports in the park), some cost up to £20 (Madame Tussauds, London Eye).
Q. Does the College teach exam classes?
A. Yes. We usually have FCE and Ielts classes. Please contact us for further details.
Q. Does the College have open days?
A. No, but you can arrange to visit us.
Q. Can I bring a group?
A. Yes. Please contact us in advance. We can accept groups of up to 100.
Q. Does the College teach other languages?
A. Yes. We usually have French, Italian and Spanish classes for adults and children. Please contact us for further details.
Q. Can I have 1:1 lessons at Purley Language College?
A. Yes. Please contact us to arrange your lesson.
Q. Can the College arrange a tutor to teach me at home?
A. Yes – but there will be an additional charge for this.
Q. Do I need a visa to study at Purley Language College?

Q. Can the school give me the letter of acceptance to get a visa?
A. Yes, but we must be satisfied that you are a genuine student and so we will usually interview you over the internet with a webcam.
Q. Will the school send me my letter of acceptance?
A. For General Student Visas, we confirm your acceptance online with the UK Border Agency and send you a reference number. This is called a CAS – Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies.
